Critical Decisions Late In Life
80% of older adults want to remain in their home as long as possible. Only 20% get what they hope for.
Many people think they have a ‘plan’ for late in life, but they really only have a ‘wish list’. And even with a plan, many don’t account for the three main plan-derailers - Falls, Failing Health, and Finances. There are no guarantees, but thoughtful, careful planning can increase the odds of actually getting what you hope for.
Mark is available for workshops either in person or on Zoom to explore the topics. He uses extensive experience working with families, and older adults in a church setting as a religious educator. He includes two years worth of experience, together with his wife Becky, with Becky’s parents (who also really only had a ‘wish list’) and a one year stint as Executive Director of ALOA, an organization focused on ministry to, with and for older adults.
The main focus is on Falls and Failing Health. Mark adds a seven video series with over 200 minutes of material focused on “My Own Home Late In Life'“. He is also available for coaching, for both the aging parents and the adult children, in either face to face or virtual sessions.
